Welcome to RetroRex! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (RetroRex.ca) and purchases from us. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Account Registration & Responsibilities

• To make a purchase, you may be required to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts if suspicious activity is detected.

2. Product Information & Availability

• We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date product information but cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy.
• Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product.
• Inventory is subject to change without notice.

3. Pricing, Payment & Fraud Prevention

• All prices are listed in USD and may change without notice.
• Local currency displays are for convenience; checkout charges are processed in USD.
• Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion rates and fees.
• Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders suspected of fraud.
• Chargebacks or unauthorized disputes may result in account suspension.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Lost Packages

Processing Time: 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri), excluding holidays. Orders placed after 3 PM EST process next business day.

All items are prepared or made-to-order before shipping to ensure quality.

Tracking: All orders include tracking — details emailed after shipment.

Delivery Issues: Ensure your address is correct. If an order is delayed or marked delivered but not received, check tracking or contact the courier.

5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

• Returns/exchanges within 7 days if unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
• No refunds — approved returns receive store credit.
• All new products include a 12-month hardware warranty for manufacturing defects (return shipping not included).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• All content on RetroRex.ca is the property of RetroRex and protected by copyright law.
• Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is prohibited.

7. Emulation Product Disclaimer

Applies to general-purpose hardware capable of running emulation software:

• We do not install, sell, or distribute copyrighted software, ROMs, or BIOS files.
• Users are responsible for legally obtaining and using any software.
• We are not liable for user configuration or third-party modifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

• No liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from site or product use.
• No liability for loss of data, profits, or third-party service issues.

9. Indemnification

• You agree to indemnify and hold RetroRex harmless for misuse of site/products.
• Includes violations of these Terms or fraudulent transactions.

10. Changes to Terms

• We may update Terms at any time — changes are effective immediately upon posting.
• It is your responsibility to review Terms regularly.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in Ontario courts.
