Welcome to RetroRex! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (RetroRex.ca) and the purchase of products from RetroRex. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read these terms carefully.

1. Account Registration & Responsibilities

• To make a purchase on RetroRex.ca, you may be required to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts if suspicious activity is detected.

2. Product Information & Availability

• We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date product information but do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy.
• Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may not always reflect exact product details.
• Inventory availability is subject to change at any time without notice.

3. Pricing, Payment & Fraud Prevention

• All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.

• You may see product prices displayed in your local currency through automated plugins for convenience. However, all final charges at checkout will be processed in USD.

• Your bank or payment provider will automatically convert the amount based on the current exchange rate at the time of purchase. These rates may fluctuate and could include conversion fees.

• Payment must be made using the accepted methods provided at checkout.

• RetroRex reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where fraudulent activity is suspected.

• Chargebacks or unauthorized disputes may result in account suspension and denial of future service.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Lost Packages

Order Processing:

Processing Time: 1 to 2 business days (Monday through Friday), excluding weekends and public holidays observed at our dispatch location.

Order Cut-Off Time: 3 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time (Toronto)
Note: Orders placed after this time will be processed on the following business day.

All products go through a preparation or made-to-order process prior to shipping to ensure quality and accuracy.

5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

• 7-Day Return & Exchange Policy:

  We gladly accept returns and offer exchanges within 7 days of the purchase date. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Please include the original order confirmation or packing slip when returning an item.

  Important Note:
  We do not offer refunds. Approved returns are eligible for store credit.

• All new products come with a 12-month hardware warranty covering manufacturing defects (return shipping not included).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• All content on RetroRex.ca, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the exclusive property of RetroRex and protected by Canadian copyright laws.
• Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

7. Emulation Product Disclaimer

This section applies only to general-purpose hardware (such as Android boxes, handhelds, and mini PCs) sold by RetroRex that may be capable of running emulation software.

RetroRex retails versatile computing devices sourced from third-party manufacturers. These products can serve a variety of purposes including—but not limited to—media streaming, educational use, development projects, retro gaming, and productivity tasks. While some customers may choose to use these devices for emulation, that is just one of many potential applications.

Important Notes:

• RetroRex does not install, sell, or distribute copyrighted software, game ROMs, or BIOS files.

• Any software added by the user must be legally obtained and used in accordance with local laws.

• RetroRex is not liable for how users configure or use their devices after purchase, including any third-party modifications or software installations.

By purchasing, you agree to use the product in accordance with applicable laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RetroRex shall not be liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
• Issues caused by third-party services (e.g., shipping carriers, payment processors).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RetroRex, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of our website or products.
• Your violation of these Terms of Service.
• Any fraudulent or unauthorized transactions conducted through your account.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

• We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
• Changes take effect immediately upon posting on RetroRex.ca.
• It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under or related to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
