Thank you for shopping at RetroRex. We specialize in retro gaming consoles, accessories, and classic video games. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, our return and exchange policy is designed to help.

7-Day Return & Exchange Policy

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 business days of delivery. Eligibility depends on the condition and type of product:
  • New & Sealed Products (Refund Eligible): To qualify for a refund, the item must be sealed, unused, and in its original packaging — this means the outer shipping carton must remain fully sealed with courier tape intact. If the outer carton has been opened for any reason, the item is no longer considered “new & sealed.”
  • Opened Products (No Refunds): If the outer shipping carton has been opened, the order is treated as opened. Opened products may be considered for exchange or store credit only, provided they are in original condition with all components. Refunds are not available once the shipping carton is opened.
  • Used / Vintage Games: Refund available only if returned in the same condition as shipped. Condition discrepancies may void the refund.

Important Notes

  • 10% restocking fee applies to all approved refunds.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless due to a confirmed error or defect.
  • Returns must be pre-authorized — unauthorized returns may be rejected or delayed.
  • Package refusals will be denied, as they follow a carrier process that can take months and incur high costs, preventing us from issuing any refund.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 7 business days of receipt.
  2. Provide Photos (Refund Requests Only): For refund eligibility, include a clear photo of the outer shipping carton fully sealed as delivered (courier tape intact; shipping label visible) and a photo of the unopened inner product seal.
  3. Receive Authorization: If approved, we’ll send a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions.
  4. Package the Item: Return in original packaging with all included materials. Items seeking a refund must have the outer shipping carton still sealed.
  5. Include RA Number: Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  6. Ship It Back: We will create a return shipping label for you and deduct the label cost from your refund. Any applicable duties or tariffs will also be deducted.
